HoTSinC Membership is open to those who love to read and/or write crime novels in all their forms: thrillers, cozies, mysteries, and more.
Our members include women and men who hail from across the country--and, of course, Central Texas. Our annual membership fee of $25.00 buys you the following benefits:

Sisters in Crime National
Membership Info
Sisters in Crime, founded in 1986 to represent and advocate for women crime writers, is the premier crime writing association focused on equity and inclusion in our community and in publishing. We celebrate and honor this history with our name while we continue to work for all who share our commitment to and love for a vibrant, inclusive community.
Our 4,500+ members enjoy access to tools to help them learn, grown, improve, thrive, reinvent if necessary. They also gain a community of supportive fellow writers and readers, both peers to share the peaks and valleys of writing, and mentors to model the way forward.

Our local chapter annual dues for 2023 are $25.
Chapter members can pay their annual dues in one of three ways:
- Make a $25 Paypal payment to chapter@sistersincrimeaustin.com
- Send a check for $25 made out to Sisters in Crime to our Treasurer:
